Die Top 400 Weine aus der Toskana – Neuerscheinung «Top of Toskana 2024»

Seit nunmehr acht Jahren präsentiert VINUM mit der Sonderpublikation «Top of Toskana»
die erfolgreichsten Weine und Weingüter des Jahres aus der Toskana. Mehr als 1000 Weine werden dafür alljährlich vor Ort verkostet, aber nur 400 Weine haben es in die finale Auflistung geschafft und lediglich 100 konnten sich für die Auszeichnung «Top of Toskana» qualifizieren - elegante Weissweine genauso wie fruchtige Jahrgangsrote oder finessenreiche Riserva-Qualitäten. Weine für Kenner und Toskana-Liebhaber gleichermassen!
25 Best of und 100 «Top of Toskana»
Ob Brunello di Montalcino, Chianti Classico Gran Selezione, Bolgheri Superiore oder Toscana IGT: Die exklusive Selektion Top 400 präsentiert das Beste, das Italiens bekannteste Weinregion aktuell zu bieten hat.
Bis Spätsommer 2023 hat Christian Eder, verantwortlicher VINUM-Korrespondent Italien, in En primeur-Verkostungen über 1‘000 Weine degustiert, und für die relevantesten Unterregionen und Appellationen der Weinregion Toskana jeweils die besten davon selektiert. Nur 400 Weine haben es in die finale Auflistung geschafft und lediglich 100 konnten sich für die Auszeichnung «Top of Toskana» qualifizieren.
Dazu kommen noch Vertikalen wegweisender Weine, die zeigen, welches Reifepotenzial Top-Toskaner aufweisen. Legendäre Weinmacher
In den Kategorien Tre tenori und Sette magnifici -würdigen wir dieses Mal Weinmacher-Persönlichkeiten, die für toskanische Weine von Weltformat verantwortlich sind – von Masseto über Tignanello bis zu Flaccianello und, nicht zu vergessen, manchen Brunello, Chianti Classico und Vino Nobile.
For eight years now, VINUM has been presenting the most successful Tuscan wines and wineries of the year in its ‘Top of Tuscany’ special issue. More than 1000 wines are tasted on the ground for this every year, but just 400 made it to the final list and only 100 received the distinction ‘Top of Tuscany’ – from elegant whites, to fruity reds, to refined riservas. Wines for connoisseurs and Tuscany fans alike!

Whether Brunello di Montalcino, Chianti Classico Gran Selezione, Bolgheri Superiore or Toscana IGT, the exclusive top 400 selection presents the best that Italy’s most famous wine region currently has to offer.
In the period through to the late summer of 2023, VINUM’s Italian correspondent Christian Eder tasted more than 1,000 wines en primeur and selected the best for each of the relevant sub-regions and appellations in Tuscany. Just 400 wines made it to the final list and only 100 were awarded the designation ‘Top of Tuscany’.
These are joined by vertical tastings of pioneering wines that demonstrate the true ageing potential of top Tuscan examples. Legendary winemakers
In the ‘Tre tenori’ and ‘Sette magnifici’ categories, this time we have honoured winemaking individuals who are responsible for Tuscan wines of global standing – from Masseto to Tignanello to Flaccianello, not forgetting Brunello, Chianti Classico and Vino Nobile.
